In an era when the allure of rock climbing captured the collective imagination, a subculture emerged. These were days of boundless ingenuity, where climbers sourced their gear from army surplus stores and thrift shops and the mantra was clear: they'd use what they had and make what they didn't. This was a time of fashion that defied convention, blending functionality with a unique, eclectic style that has become synonymous with this era. Among the essentials that kept these pioneering mountain men warm and resilient against the elements was a humble yet sturdy, waffle-style base layer.
Just as it served them faithfully in their daring endeavours, our Base Waffle Crew Neck pays homage to that same spirit of camaraderie, echoing the courage of those who scaled heights and chased horizons.
